Freeze Watch indicators give you a clear, permanent answer to a simple question: did this shipment drop to freezing on its way to you? Placed on the outside of secondary shipper boxes, each indicator quietly monitors temperature exposure in transit and storage, so a cold-chain breach can't slip through unnoticed.
The indicator is irreversible. Once it has been exposed to freezing, there is no resetting it.
A highly sensitive liquid sits sealed inside a specially designed ampule on an adhesive-backed card.
If the temperature reaches freezing, the ampule fractures and releases the liquid inside.
The liquid permanently stains the paper behind it. A dark stain means the product was exposed and should be checked.
Freeze Watch indicators track temperature exposure, not product quality. A stained indicator is your signal to run a quality check on the product.
